Synopsis: When it rains in paved streets the water is not drained to prevent flooding and you have to build culverts. Already in some clay soil water is absorbed with ease. This is why the asphalt pavement is a waterproof material while the little clay soil is a permeable material. This feature is suggested an experiment that tests the permeability.
