Description

Synopsis: contemplates the understanding of the phenomena related to the concepts that involve: Geocentrism; Heliocentrism; Kepler's laws of planetary motion; Law of universal gravitation of Isaac Newton (references); The world of uncertainties of Quantum Mechanics. Cleber Brasil is at Rádio Frigida, which works at the school where he studies and talks animatedly with the sound engineer about what a GPS (Global Position Sisten) is able to do to situate the position of a body on the surface of the Earth . In this context Professor Galileo Lattes (avatar of the author) enters the conversation and leads the discussion to antiquity, considering aspects of Geocentrism with the visions of Aristotle and Claudius Ptolemy. Aspects related to the development of scientific and technological thought are advanced and will find Nicholas Copernicus and Galileo Galilei in the Renaissance, scientists who defended the Heliocentric conception. Through a 'Time Tunnel' these and other scientists like Isaac Newton are visited and dialogued with Professor Galileo Lattes. At the end the subject returns to GPS, as a result of a millennial scientific and technological development! (Part 1/2)
