Synopsis: This video presents the activity in which students, working in groups, build at least six boxes of paper and try to figure out which one has greater volume. Only after doing the calculations, check that your intuition was right. Finally, they will use the collected data to sketch a graph of the volume obtained as a function of x of the cut used in the making of the box, again being urged to answer: what is the largest possible volume?
