Synopsis: video that NASA's MESSENGER probe captured during the flyover at Mercury's north pole on June 8, 2014. The picture frames were taken once per second at altitudes between 115 and 165 km, traveling at a speed of 3, 7 kilometers per second in relation to the surface. The movie is accelerated by a factor of seven for easy viewing. Images have resolutions ranging from 21-45 meters / pixel.
