Getúlio Vargas [Construtores do Brasil]

Synopsis: Displays video produced by TV camera on the life of Getúlio Vargas. Vargas became head of the interim government after the deposition then president of Brazil, Luis Washington during the Revolution of 1930. With the 1934 Constitution was again elected as president for 4 years. The Vargas dictatorship, known as the New State, began after the government released a supposed plan of the Communists to seize power. The legacy of Vargas was marked by the participation of Brazil in World War II, by labor legislation and for creating the country's industrialization bases.
