Description

Synopsis: Episode of Brazil 500 years: Brazil-Empire on TV, screened by TV School, which talks about Brazil from 1821 when it began the process of independence. The video discusses the rebellions against the empire, such as the Pernambuco Revolution, the Praieira Revolution, the Cabanagem in Pará, and the Farrapos War in Rio Grande do Sul. It describes the return of Dom João VI to Portugal and the permanence of Dom Pedro I in Brazil. The Monarchical Constitution is granted. With the death of Dom João VI and the return of Dom Pedro I to Portugal, the Regulative Period and the inauguration of Dom Pedro II began as Emperor of Brazil.
